What is the Melvita Foundation?

Founded in 1983 by Bernard Chevilliat, MELVITA has always been driven by our passion for nature and biodiversity always keeping "nature at heart" in everything we do.  Based in the Ardèche region, MELVITA has always strived to support local projects run by associations and charities to help protect our beautiful planet .

Now a global leader in organic beauty care, MELVITA is more than ever dedicated to supporting ecological issues throughout the world. Working with an extensive network of Eco-Stores and suppliers, together we can make a tangible difference!

This is the reason why we have created the MELVITA Corporate Foundation to continue and develop a sponsorship policy that is already well established and has a strong link with the ecological commitments of our founder.   

The Foundation's Missions

The MELVITA Foundation supports projects and initiatives all around the world within 2 specific fields of action:

>  To support any actions or initiatives that aim to protect nature, to raise awareness about ecology, and to promote organic farming as a means towards social integration, fairness and solidarity.

 > To safeguard the future of bees by taking part in any studies or initiatives that may help put a stop to their disappearance, protect their habitat, and promote the development of beekeeping throughout the world.

Submit a Project

The MELVITA Foundation Commitee is composed of qualified individuals from different horizons and with complementary fields of expertise.

They meet twice a year (in May and November), to vote and decide on which projects will receive funding.

Please note that Project  Submissions  need to be received by the Foundation by April,1st at the latest (for projects considered by the Board in May) and October,1st (for projects considered in November).
